MATKA, the Nordic travel fair in Helsinki, Finland was participated by a consortium of our travel industry companies, namely Shangri-la Hotels, Yeti Airlines and Yeti Mountain Home, Marco Polo Travels and Machan Wildlife Resort along with the Nepal Tourism Board.

A record breaking number of visitors estimated to be over 75 thousand attended the fair not only from Finland but also from the neighboring countries of Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

With Finnair now with a direct connection to Delhi, Nepal will be much more accessible for this Nordic outbound market.
