No destination can match the diversity of Indonesia, a 17,000 island archipelago, the world's largest. This sets the stage for a stunning range of landscapes, cultures, languages and religions that makes Indonesia like no other place on earth. And there's Bali, the mystical, lush jewel of equatorial Asia!

BALI — THE "ULTIMATE ISLAND"

Bali vibrant culture, unique arts and ceremonies, a friendly people and scenic beauty make Bali one of the world's most desirable destinations for leisure travelers. Sanur, Kuta, Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua and Jimbaran are your beach havens and Ubud your center for Balinese culture, arts and dance. Mix in sacred volcanoes, crater lakes, lush terraced paddies, waterfalls, diving, surfing and sailing cruises to remote islands - with Dragons! Bali is Indonesia's jewel!

In spite of many changes caused by the rapid development of Bali's economy, local and international tourism, and communications (television, fax, pagers, GSM hand phones, Internet), the influx of people from other Indonesian islands, and the strong influence of the government and "big business" in Jakarta, the island of Bali in Indonesia is year after year voted by the readers of all major travel magazines the most enchanting travel and holiday destination in the whole world. Bali's wide variety of attractions, the physical beauty of the island, and the year-round pleasant climate make Bali a place regarded by many visitors as the "Ultimate Island".

Bali's natural attractions include miles of sandy beaches (many are well-known amongst surfers), picturesque rice terraces, towering active volcanoes over 3,000 meters (10,000 ft.) high, fast flowing rivers, deep ravines, pristine crater lakes, sacred caves, and lush tropical forests full of exotic wildlife.

The island's rich cultural heritage is visible everywhere - in over 20,000 temples and palaces, in many colorful festivals and ceremonies (including tooth filings and cremations), in drama, music, and dance.

You can experience Bali on many different excursions and guided tours by coach, private car or "Big Bike", by boat or by air plane: seeing Bali's beaches and rice terraces, the famous Besakih Temple on the slopes of holy Mount Agung, Lake Batur and it's active volcano, Ubud, Legian, Kuta, Nusa Dua, and the temples of Tanah Lot and Ulu Watu from a helicopter is a really special experience.

Ubud is internationally famous for arts, painting, and sculptures. Thousands of Balinese and foreign artists have dedicated their lives to the arts living here in Ubud. An immense variety of modern and contemporary western and Balinese style paintings may be found here. In addition there are many other sights and sounds to discover as well as an abundance of local handicrafts and cultural activities. For those who are more energetic, there are plenty of adventure activities like white-water-rafting, hiking, cycling, and many others.

Lovina Beach through some of Bali’ spectacular scenic beauty, its located in the northern side of the island.

SINGARAJA. For 400 years, this city has been Bali’s traditional point of contact with the outside world. Lovina beach is located only a couple of kilometers wet of Singaraja, a nice and quite beach covered with black sand, best place for relaxation.
