Everest Panorama
19 days trip

We combine a trek in the Mount Everest region
with rafting down to Trisuli river and jungle
safari in the Royal Chitwan National Park. An
excellent programme that covers all that you
would wish to see on your first visit to Nepal.
We fly to Lukla airstrip in the Khumbu region
and the trail gradually climbs up the steep
sided Dudh Koshi valley and passing through
forests of blue pine, fir, rhododendron and
reach Namche Bazar where we acclimatise by taking
side trips to Thame Monastry before heading
to the famous Tyangboche Monastery. From Namche
Bazar, we gain the views of Mount Everest, Nuptse,
Lhotse (8511 meter), Thamserku (6608 meter)
and Amadablam (6856 meter). Then we raft down
to Royal Chitwan National Park.

the Annapurna foothills. After returning to
Kathmandu, we fly to Lukla air strip for our

A Glimpse of Everest

Annapurna Sanctuary

Annapurna sanctuary is a natural amphitheater
offering views of the surrounding mighty Himalayan
peaks. We commence our trek form Phewa Lake
passing through villages and forests. We visit
Pun Hill (3200 m) where sunrise over the Machapuchare,
Annapurna Himal and Dhaulagiri is an unforgettable
experience. We then head towards Kimrung Khola
to enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. We camp at
Annapurna Base Camp (4070 m) and take an excursion
to the glaciers and other base camps. A trail
back through Chomrung and Landrung villages
of the Gurungs leads us to the Pokhara valley
leaving unforgettable memories of high mountain
peaks.

Classic Everest

Following the original expedition route to Mount
Everest, this trek has become a classic. We
start our trek from Jiri to Khumbu region crossing
Lamjura and Taksindu passes before reaching
the Dudhkoshi valley. We follow the Dudhkoshi
river, trekking through the famous Sherpa village
of Namche Bazar and Khumjung and reach the most
beautiful Tyangboche monastery. After acclimatising
slowly, we ascend to Loboche and make our base
camp for an excursion to Kalapathar, a rocky
outcrop. Kalapathar provides a rewarding view
of the summit of Mount Everest flanked by Nuptse
and Lhotse. We hike a few days down to Lukla
and fly back to Kathmandu.

Rolwaling Valley Trek

Rolwaling valley is one of the less trekked
areas of Nepal noted for its beauty. We drive
to Barabishe, a small town near Tibetan border.
Our trek starts with a steep climb to Tinsang
La Pass (3319 m) from where we appreciate the
magnificent scenery of Mt. Gaurishanker and
Melungtse and Mt. Everest ranges. From here
we descend to Bigu Gompa and Bhotekoshi river.
After a pleasant walk along the river, we reach
Rolwaling valley and explore the beautiful Sherpa
villages with stone houses. Tale of the Yeti
originates here and in 1960 Sir Edmund Hillary
led an expedition below the giant peak of Gaurishanker
in search of the Yeti.

Nepal trade route, Larkya La pass sandwiched
between snow elopes descending from the Manaslu
and Larkya Himal, Ghanpokhara village with stunning
views of Lamjung Himal.

This challenging and remote trek encircles the
Dhaulagiri Himal (8167 m), the world's sventh
highest mountain comprising of Dhaulagiri I-IV
through wild territory. We commence our trek
from Pokhara that fakes us to Beni to reach
the south west flanks of Dhaulagiri. From here
we ascend to the base camp crossing high 13
Dampus and French passes through hidden valley,
the hardest section of our trek. Our trail drops
down to the Kaligandaki gorge, the breach between
Annapurna and Dhaulagiri which forms the deepest
gorge in the world. We then descend to Pokhara
valley.

Makalu Base camp

This trek offers some of Nepal's most spectacular
scenery. This is a trek of great contrast starting
from the lowlands of terai fields just 200 m.
above sea-level to climbing 4500 m. to the base
of Mt. Makalu! We commence our trek from Hille
following the mighty Arun river, one of Nepal's
two largest river, on an ancient trade route
used till this day. From Tumlingtar we head
to Sherpa village of Tashigaon the last settlement
in the region and enter the Makalu basin crossing
high passes of Shipton La (4500 m) and Barun
La (4400 m). From the high points panoramic
views of the Himalaya from Everest to Kanchenjunga
to the east, Tibet and the huge south face of
Makalu (8463 m) to the north reward the trekkers.
We fly back to Kathmandu from Tumlingtar.

m) is rewarding. Trek highlights are Kyanjin
Gompa, a Buddhist monastery, Yala Peak climbing

Dolpo Exploratory
Trek

Dolpo is located inside the Shey-Phoksundo National
Park of mid-western Nepal, behind the Dhaulagiri
massif towards the Tibetan Plateau. Cut off
by a series of very high passes closed by snow
most of the year, Dolpo remains a truly isolated
corner of Nepal. The finely preserved ecosystem
encompasses a wild and wonderful variety of
plants and wildlife, including the blue sheep
and the snow leopard. A trek through Dolpo is

Mustang Adventure

Mustang is an ancient kingdom of people of Tibetan
descent following the Bon and Buddhist religions.
Behind the rain-barriers of the Himalayas, Mustang
is similar to the Tibetan plateau in its terrain,
the customs of its inhabitants. Mustang is located
north of the main Himalayan chain between the
snow capped mountains on the east and west bordering
Tibet and relatively wide and levelled ridge
towards the north with Himalayan pass not higher
than 4600 m. The climate and land is dry and
arid. Villages are located in the valley at
the altitude of 3300 m. to 4000 m. where important
historical sites are also located. It was an
important salt trading post in the trans-himalayan
belt. The best time to visit Mustang is in the
monsoon season in July and August.
