Trekking
Trekking is an integral part of adventure tourism in Nepal. Adventurers from all over the world enjoy close views of the Himalayas, the finely-balanced ecosystems and the hardy yet hospitable mountain peoples. The flora and fauna are also something very special: from rhododendron forests to the Trans-Himalayan desertscape, from ghoral and the tahr to the elusive snow leopard. The romance of the mountain kingdom brings 470,000 trekkers annually to the Nepalese Himalayas. Our programs and expertise strive to offer our clients the best way to enjoy all that we have to offer.

White Water Rafting
The rivers of Nepal take the traveller to the very heart of a magical land and is one of the most exciting ways of exploring Nepal's ancient cultures and unspoiled landscapes. Rising from the glaciers of the highest mountains in the world and from the mysterious plateau of Tibet the rivers plunge through narrow gorges and traverse their rugged foothills. Before the melted snows reach the peaceful waters of the holy Ganges, the rivers course through lush tropical jungles and meander through the plains of the Terai.

Jungle Safari
In the southern region of Nepal, between the Mahabharat and Churia mountain ranges, lies the dense jungles formerly host to many foreign royalties and dignitaries in organized tiger shoots. Following the banning of hunting the government has designated these areas national parks. The Royal Chitwan National Park and Royal Bardia Wildlife Reserve are the most accessible areas where private operators are allowed to operate wildlife lodges and tented camps inside the reserves. Deluxe establishments catering to discerning tourists provide ample attractions like wildlife viewing on elephant back, canoe ride, nature walks and evening local entertainment.
Sky Trek
With the advent of private airline companies operating on the domestic routes of Nepal many areas of great natural beauty or of cultural significance, hitherto inaccessible, have suddenly opened up. Areas that needed strenuous treks of weeks to reach are now just a short hop away from Kathmandu. To the busy executive or the elderly our Sky Trek programs offer tremendous incentive to experience the Himalayas now!

Fixed Wing Stol Aircrafts

Everest / Annapurna Trail
We fly to the gateways of Lukla in the Everest region and to the Trans-Himalayan region of Jomosom north of Pokhara.

Karnali Safari / Dolpo
The Royal Bardia National Park encompasses the densest jungle in Nepal as it is further away from human habitation than the other parks. Tourism activities in this park have been limited in the past due to its distance from Kathmandu and the vagaries of the mountain roads. Our Sky Trek Safari now combines this with a quick trek in the Dolpo region.

Syangboche Everest View Hotel (October - May)
The Everest View Hotel located near Namche Bazaar in the Everest region at a height of 13,000 ft. is the ultimate in high altitude luxury. The 12 twin-bedded rooms with private bath and hot and cold running water offer stunningly close views of the Everest. We fly you to the Syangboche airstrip by the 7-seater Pilatus Porter STOL aircraft and the hotel is just 45 minutes walk away from this landing strip.

For the adventurous the hotel can be the launching site of a 7 day trek to Everest Base Camp, 5 days Gokyo glacier trek or 2 days trek to the famous and recently restored Thyangboche monastery, the highest monastery in the world.

Flights to Enchantment (Mountain Flights)
From May until September the long views of the Himalayas is absent from most hill resorts and so the one-hour mountain flight to Everest and other peaks is a must in the itinerary. During the winter, of course, the clarity of the sky and fresh snowfall on the mountains will make this flight even more spectacular. There is a full range of aircrafts doing these flights daily: Boeing 727, the 44 seater Avro, the 17-seater Dornier and the 15-seater Twin Otter.
Helicopters

Nagarkot / Langtang
A day trip to Langtang with a quick breakfast-hop in Nagarkot is the shortest possible introduction to the Himalayas. We see Kyangjin monastery inhabited by people of Tibetan stock before flying back to Kathmandu.

Everest Base Camp
Everest Base Camp is the trophy most trekking enthusiasts coming to Nepal want to bag. The shortest and only possible way to fly there is by helicopter. This trip is a great option for armchair trekking enthusiasts and the busy business executives.
